At Burkett & Burkett, DDS, PA, we understand that the cost of even the most basic dental care may be prohibitive for some of our patients. However, we believe that no patient should have to forgo dental treatment because cost is a concern. We offer convenient financing and payment options so that even the most advanced dental treatments are within the reach of each of our patients. We also make it a point to fully inform patients of the cost of treatment before we begin a procedure, so patients will never suffer "sticker shock" when they receive their bill.
Insurance Affiliations
We accept all major dental insurance assignment of benefits. When you check out if there is a deductible or co-payment, we will collect that on the day of your treatment and bill your insurance for the balance. We have invested a considerable amount in software that will estimate your deductible and co-payment from any insurance company in the United States, but if the amount paid is not exactly what our software vendor has estimated we will either send you a bill or a check for the amount of the over or under payment when we receive payment from your insurance. Although we make every effort to determine your benefits for you, remember that there are hundreds of insurance plans out there, and a quick phone call to your carrier's toll free number is always advisable before selecting a new office so there will be no surprises. If you prefer, as many of our patients do, to have your treatment here even if we are out of network we will still do all the paperwork for you in filing your claim, and simply ask you to pay for your services at the time of the visit and your carrier will reimburse you promptly.
